Irvine, Simon and Thodore are chipmunks with special talents in music, who be reconciled to their broker as well as custodian Dave Seville(impersonated by Jesen Lee). Although they did not stop making troubles, but having been through those life experience, they all known about the real significants of family...Due to accidental injury, Dave needed to have a rest-cure in hospital. So the chipminks' works have been left to Dave's nephew Toby. Meanwhile, Irvine, Simon and Thodore have been tird of their popular celebridy life and decided to off the stage, put down their pop idol status temporarily and back to school for charging.
However, unexpectedly,the three little composer have to bear down a hard task just when they came to the school--to save the music lesson which is in front of cancelling by winning a competition of bands. The three chipmunks thought that it's a piece of cake to win the game at first. However, when they encountered three other beautiful female chipmunks, the talent musicians Brittany ,Eleanor and Janet. To the three origin version of chipmunks, everything seemed to start losing their control...
