简单介绍：
Michael Learns To Rock（简称：MLTR）中文翻译名一般为：摇滚麦克或者麦克摇滚。丹麦乐队，1988年的春4人组团，在1991年发行了第一张专辑，第一首单曲是"I still carry on"。 2000年开始变为3人，大部分歌曲都是由Jascha.Richter写。

我97年进入大学，开始喜欢上英文歌，那时听得多的是经典歌曲，有一次，同宿舍同学给我听了一盒磁带，就是那个 Paint My Love Greatest Hits专辑，我听了几分钟，没有大的感觉就还给他了。再过一年吧，我老乡也买了一盒，强烈推荐我听，我才仔细听，喜欢上了，自己买了一盒来详细听。 Paint My Love Greatest Hits是精选前3个专辑的。每一首基本都是好听的。从此喜欢上这个乐队，大学毕业前还买了一个 Paint My Love Greatest Hits的CD和卡拉OK的VCD，我现在电脑里面的mp3就是用这个CD自己高质量压缩的。CD毕业时候送给了同宿舍的同学了。
总体评价：
他们的歌，虽然乐队名有摇滚，其实基本没有摇滚，很多都是柔情爱歌。有摇滚也是软摇滚。歌词用现在的话来说就是比较搞笑点，例如The Actor和25 minutes。歌词比较压韵，基本上通俗易懂，都是一些英语的最基本词汇，没有深奥的词。最出名的歌是that is why（you go away），可能很多人不知道这个乐队，但肯定听过这个歌的，这个歌曲早已进入英文歌曲经典行列。

其实现在看起来也不能不考虑钱的问题，我就是高中时候看了鲁迅写的《伤逝》后，深深感受到婚姻不能不考虑物质基础，正如她们说的：贫贱夫妻白事哀，不能只嫁给爱情。有一点道理。不好意思，我不是一个爱情至上的人，在这里对这个歌提出了一个不协调的意见。钱阿钱。金钱不是万能，但没有钱万万不能。

一个情书。美。疯狂。推荐大家听另外一个经典的英文歌《I'd Love You To Want Me》（我希望你要我），也是同样感觉，不过比这个要出名。
这个歌曲旋律有一个很不同于别的歌的地方是：开头没有前奏，一开始便是唱。在第一节结束时候有一个音符很美丽，声音逐渐降弱，给人家感觉就是声音越来越远，一直飘到天外。好像一个悠扬的笛声、雁声。
